“The Willow Springs Children's Christmas Party"

“Willow Springs Lions Club Presents "Las Vegas Night"

Don't miss the annual "Las Vegas Night" hosted by the Willow Springs Lions Club on Friday, Nov. 6, from 7-midnight, at the Royalty West, 8675 S. Archer Avenue. Win prizes of $500, $100, $50 in the Lions Club Raffle.  Play Black Jack, Texas Hold-em, Big Wheel, and Poker while enjoying refreshments and contributing to a great cause.  Donation is $5.

“Willow Springs Lioness Club Annual Chili Supper"

Taste what's cooking at the annual "Chili Supper" hosted by the Willow Springs Lioness Club on Friday, Nov. 13, from 4-7 p.m., at the Willow Springs Community Center, 8156 S. Archer Avenue. Chili, Hot Dogs, Salad, Desert and Beverages will be available.  A Cash Raffle will be held.   Adults and Children over 12 - $6. Children 4-12 - $4.  Children 4 and under are Free.

“A River Thru History Rendezvous” will be held Oct. 10-11, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (4 p.m. on Sunday) at the Columbia Woods Forest Preserve in Willow Springs.

A River Thru History is an early American party with all the trimmings! Join this festive gathering of fur trappers, settlers, craftsmen, and entertainers along the banks of the Des Plaines River.

A River Thru History is a living history re-enactment of early American life, as it was on the Illinois frontier prior to 1848, with emphasis on our local history from the fur trade era to the canal era.

The goal of this rendezvous is to be the premier event of this type in this area by creating an exciting, entertaining and educational experience for all ages. To this end, we strive to create a better understanding and appreciation of our history by allowing the public and the re-enactors to mingle, both as witnesses and participants, in our event.
