Pleasant Dale Park District's 27th annual July 4 celebration will be held at Walker Park, 7425 S. Wolf Road. A Fireworks Display is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Village of Willow Springs is a sponsor this year for the Fireworks Display. It's Back! Don't Miss the Event of the Summer in Willow Springs: The 2nd Annual Benefit Car Show returns on Thursday, August 6, from 4-9 p.m., in the Village Center. More than 200 classic cars competed in various categories last year and this year promises even more: More cars, more food vendors, more parking, more prizes, more music, MORE FUN! Mark your calendars and tell your friends. Come out and enjoy a look at yesteryear with cars from every era. Enjoy food from a variety of local businesses, browse arts and crafts, cool off in our Beer Tent which promises to be "2nd to None" like the rest of the festivities. Most of all, have fun while raising money to support one of our own, young Kelly Malecki. Also included in this year's fundraiser is Special Olympics and the local Food Pantry. Car registration is $15. Please pre-register at 708-467-3708, or enter the Benefit Car Show grounds, at Archer and Willow Springs Road, between 4-6 p.m. Judging will begin promptly at 6 p.m., and awards will be handed out at 8 p.m. The Drawing for the Grand Prizes, including an LCD TV and cash, will be at 8:30 p.m. Don't Miss Out.
