The Mayor's Corner

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Spring is in the air in Willow Springs.

Like you, I know I've had enough of the seemingly endless snow, ice, and freezing temperatures that marked the start of our year. It is time to look forward, to plan, and build.

I am happy to report that despite the harsh winter, work on the Town Center project moved ahead. Trucks rolled, earth moved and plans are on schedule. Your Village Board and I are fine-tuning the budget with the help and guidance of the recent village audit.

The good news is we continued to cut costs and remain in a balanced position. This helps with plans for future projects and keeps the village's bond rating strong.
