Parks and Facilities

Village parks are your place to play, spend time with your family or participate in activities. Please report any maintenance problems to the Village Hall (708) 467-3700 and suspicious activity to (708) 839-2732. Park hours are Dawn to Dusk.

Lions Park

Located at 201 Park St., Lions Park includes a playground, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, small cooking grills, a drinking fountain, tennis court, basketball court, two baseball diamonds, horseshoe game (horseshoes not included), large fire pit, sand volleyball area (net and ball not included), and a walking path.

Note: The Pavilion at Lions Park is available to residents of Willow Springs for rental use. Secured rentals take priority over public use.

Splash Pad at Lions Park

Kids get drenched running through rainbow-colored archways, shooting water cannons and traipsing through geysers. The Splash Pad is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (weather permitting) and is free for all.

Central Bark Dog Park

Central Bark is a great place to let your dog off the leash! One affordable membership allows you access into both the large and small dog parks year round. Membership for Central Bark is attained in-person only at the Village Clerk’s Office. To learn more about Central Bark, Click Here.

Healing Waters Pond

Located at the corner of Willow West Drive and 85th Street, Healing Waters Pond is a hidden get-away. With a small on-site gazebo, the pond is a perfect location for a picnic lunch. The retention pond is home to several bird species as well as bluegill, large and small mouth bass, and catfish.

There is currently NO FISHING by the public at Healing Waters Pond due to the time needed for the pond to repopulate itself. No fishing signs are posted on site and  violators will be heavily fined.

Willow Park

On site is a small children’s playground. Located at 8827-9795 Chaucer Dr, Willow Springs, IL 60480.

Renting Village Facilities

The Willow Springs Community Center, 8156 Archer Ave., and Pavilion at Lions Park, 201 Park St., are available for residents to rent for small events. Rental is limited to residents only, one rental per year at each location. Applications are available here and in-person at the Village Clerk’s Office. Rentals are secured on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the Clerk’s office for more information or to check for availability.
